Producing

​

Producing is a very broad concept.

It can be almost complete arranging, composing and directing around an artist.

Or an almost invisible presence, that makes the artist do the very best in the moment.

And the big grey zone in between both!

What is needed, is defined by the artists visions, skills, wishes, background and personality.

 

I really enjoy making an artist comfortable in a setup, that increases and expands the artists expression and skills as much as possible.

 

In the later years I have also worked intensively and enjoyed very much the field of "live in the Studio" recordings.

Also improvisation and instant composing is a great joy.

 

That said, working in the intense and also deep technique of layered recordings is also very satisfying.

 

My skills as a musician, arranger and composer is also often in play, especially with solo artists.
